Isle of Capri Quick Review
Isle of Capri is a colorful, tropically-themed resort with an easy going atmosphere located conveniently on Biloxi's Casino Row. The Gulf Coast's
first casino has been renovated since Hurricane Katrina. Gaming is now located on two floors inside the main building and they have added a new restaurant,
food court and bar.

Isle of Capri is at the east end of Biloxi's Casino Row. The waterfront location is next door to Casino Magic Biloxi (closed). Grand Casino Biloxi is
just beyond that.

Isle of Capri Biloxi - Hotel
By far, Isle has the ugliest rooms of any Gulf Coast casino. It is largely a matter of personal taste, but the
tropical theme, which is energetic on the casino floor, is carried too far here. The colors are so gaudy and over-the-top (especially the bedspread)
that it feels like children's room.
Besides the general tackiness, the room and its decor had a fairly cheap feel to it. For example, the shower curtain was a flimsy plastic thing, the
lavatory fixtures would be more suitable in a budget motel than a destination resort, and it was rather sparsely furnished. They do have a new addition to
the hotel tower completed in the past couple of years that might have better decor.

Aside from the shortcomings, Isle's hotel rooms are clean, usually reasonably priced, and some have great water views. Standard amenities include in-room
safe, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, a clothesline, and a clock radio. Two big plusses, in my opinion, are the free wireless internet and the availabilty of
balcony rooms.

Isle of Capri Biloxi - Casino
The two level casino is bright and has a tropical theme. It was completely renovated follwing the hurricane of 2005.
There are approximately 1,300 slot machines ranging in denomination from five cents to $100, including all of the popular titles.
Video Poker fans will find some full pay machines (9/6 JOB).
Isle of Capri Biloxi - Food Court
There are 30 table games including blackjack, craps, roulette, Let It Ride, and others; plus a live poker room.

Lava Bar Enjoy exotic drinks and in this new bar located in the lobby area of the first floor while catching a game on the flat screen tv's.
Isle of Capri Player's Club IsleOne is an innovative loyalty program in which players earn points and Isle Miles which can be
redeemed for merchandise, vacations, and comps (as well as cash back) at any of Isle's properties.

Parking at Isle of Capri
There is ample free self-parking in the resort's large garage, as well as valet. A new elevated walkway provides easy access from the garage to the casino and hotel.

Dining at Isle of Capri Biloxi
Bragozzo This wine bar and restaurant has an exhibition kitchen and a two-story glass wine tower. The dining room has a warm and
inviting atmosphere. The menu features authentic regional Italian cuisine by famed Chef Luke Palladino.
Most entrees run $24-30.
Calypso's Buffet Highlights include seafood, made-to-order dishes such as omelets and pasta,
as well as crab legs (seved nightly).
Taste of Farraddays' Restaurant is located on the third floor (off the hotel lobby) overlooking the marina and water. This casual but elegant restaurant
is open for dinner. The menu includes certified angus steaks ($20-30), lobster, prime rib, and chicken dishes (about $18).
Tradewinds Marketplace is a food court with a Pizza Hut, deli, a raw bar, a grill, noodle bar, and ice cream parlor.
Starbucks Located in the lobby just inside the front entrance.

Swimming Pool Isle of Capri has a seasonal rooftop (3rd floor) swimming pool with sundeck and whirlpool.
