Island View Casino - Quick Review
The Island View, Gulfport's only casino, opened September 18, 2006 at the 40-acre site of the former Grand Casino Gulfport.
It is owned by Rick Carter and Terry Green, who were the founders of Copa Casino which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
Island View's Phase I is housed within the building formerly known as the Grand Casino's Oasis Hotel. The building
has been completely renovated and includes 30,000 square feet of gaming space inside the former lobby, a buffet,
and a 562 room hotel.
Phase II is scheduled to open during Spring 2007 with more casino space and additional restaurants.
Island View Location The resort is on the north side of Beach Blvd (UW-90) in Gulfport at the site of the former
Grand Casino (0.5 miles west of US-49). It is about 3 miles from the airport and 5 miles from I-10.

Island View Casino & Entertainment
Island View Casino features over 1,000 slots and video poker machines, and 15 table games. Phase II expansion will
increase the slot count to 2,100 with 47 table games plus a high limit area (Spring of 2007). The games are good here: brand new slots and full-pay video poker.
Players Club & Promotions - The Island View schedules numerous giveaways and extra point days for its card
holders.
Entertainment - The Center Bar will open in May 2007 and feature live, weekly entertainment.
There are also several bars in the casino with video poker and televisions for viewing sporting events.

Island View Buffet Open 24 hours. Features live action food stations. Prices range from $8 for breakfast to
$18 for dinner.
C&G Grille A 24/7 cafe opening in May, 2007.
Emeril's Gulf Coast Fish House Opening in June, 2007. The newest Emeril Legasse restaurant will feature fish,
seafood, and desserts designed and kicked up a notch by the famous chef.
Island View Hotel
Island View has over 560 luxurious hotel rooms and suites. Rooms are furnished with a flat panel lcd television, refrigerator,
marble and granite bathrooms, pillow-top mattresses and down blankets.
